Description

This scene shows off four ship designs I was asked to make for a project. Made in blender over roughly a week, I used the lazy-unwrapping approach, using a single texture with 4 gradients across all models. The three capitol ships were made without references. For the fighter I started out using a blueprint of an f111 as reference to get an appropriate form for the body and wings, then added and modified features as required. The wormhole is somethign added in for this scene, it's just a tube that's had displacement, deform and decimate modifiers applied to acheive a twisted wave effect.
