Description

On a hike at Wilder Ranch today I came across a number of these creatures scattered across the beach. They are a type of sea slug known as a sea hare. They looked like brown lumps of goo with spots, antennae, and ruffles. Luckily the tide was coming up, so most of them ended up back in the water unharmed. Here is the Monterey Bay Aquarium info on sea hares: http://www.montereybayaquarium.org/animal-guide/invertebrates/sea-hare The photos for this model were captured with my iPhone. ![Alt text](https://static1.squarespace.com/static/544825ade4b002e9ed1c7497/t/55de8e1ae4b07afa63298f95/1440648739062/beach?format=1000w)
