Description

This is a resin 3D printable model of a Glaucoma Drainage Device(GDD) ocular implant, Ideal for practicing surgery on wetlab cadaver eyes. This design is similar to Aurolab Aqueous Drainage Implant(AADI) / Baerveldt valve implant. This design can be easily printed in a Resin SLA LCD printer such as Crealty LDH-002. A small plastic tube from an intravenous catheter can be cut and placed into the 3D printed design to complete the GDD. Glaucoma Drainage Devices are used for glaucoma surgeries in ophthalmology. These are not easily available and are quite expendsive. This model is intended to help ophthalmic surgeons get used to the surgical handling of this device in the wetlab.
