Description

This nucleosome model was used in PathogenAR (https://www.niaid.nih.gov/research/pathogenar-mobile-app) for the Papilloma: The HPV Minichromosome Module. The 3D model was originally generated for: Porter SS, Liddle JC, Browne K, Pastrana DV, Garcia BA, Buck CB, Weitzman MD, McBride AA. Histone Modifications in Papillomavirus Virion Minichromosome (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33593981/)s. mBio. 2021 Feb 16;12(1):e03274-20. doi: 10.1128/mBio.03274-20. PMID: 33593981. It was also featured in PaVE 3D (https://pave.niaid.nih.gov/explore/3d_viewer/structures). PDB 1KX5 (https://www.rcsb.org/structure/5X7X) was used to generate the base model in ChimeraX. H2A is depicted in light green, H2B in dark green, H4 in yellow, and H3 in orange. A stick representation was added of one H3 tail where acetylation is in magenta, methylation in green and lysine residues in white. It is UV mapped and includes AO texture maps.
