Description

The reverse transcriptase (RT) structure with AZT bound was built in ChimeraX from PDB 3V41. PDB 3MEC of RT with Etravidine/TMC125 bound was aligned to 3V41 using the mmaker function. RT from 3MEC was removed. The polymerase domain was colored according to the following residues: fingers 1-85 and 118-155, palm 86-117 and 156-236, thumb 237-318, and connection 319-426. The active site was defined as D110, D185, and D186 of p66. The FBX version was used in the application and is not 3D printable.
