Face shield’s primary function is to protect eyes and nose from direct contact from liquids and aerosols. A secondary effect of the face shield is to limit access to face from direct touch from possibly contaminated hands. Main key factors of this design are: Simplistic design with minimal components; rapid manufacturing time to deliver PPE for people in need; full coverage of face from all directions, specially the top of the shield; high comfort of the device to be worn whole day without causing the pressure ulcers; face shield is compatable with glasses, goggles, respirator.
