Description

These files were created to be used in FDM/FFM printers such as the Stratasys F123 series (F360,F370, 400mc, 900mc, etc) printers that use support material. The intent is to print more visors in one build while requiring less support material thus optimizing build times. The original version was modified to allow for stacking of visors on top of each other. The design was also modified to reduce the amount of material in the visor section to promoting even cooling as the part is built. There are two versions - a 6 stack and a 21 stack. The parts in the build are spaced at .010" for a layer of support material. Build time for the 6 stack was 6hrs and the 21 stack was 24hrs on a Stratasys F370. This is based on the NIH approved design below but modified for build optimization https://3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-013421 (https://3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-013421)
