This minimalist designed 3D printable face shield visor is quick to produce while maintaining durability and strength of the face shield. This design is intended to provide face protection to frontline healthcare workers in the Covid-19 pandemic from fluid splatter from the FRONT and TOP. Requires a 8-1/2" x 11" transparency film (4 hole template provided) and a strap to use. Local group of individuals in the new haven, CT area are producing the visor in an initial batch for healthcare workers at Yale New Haven Health for testing. Head strap (choose one) Choice 1: 14” length of ¾” width or greater woven elastic band Choice 2: 28” – 32” length (depending on head size) ¼” woven elastic band.
