Description

A mod designed for Athena II printers(subset of the Delta printers) to allow them to print with 2-part epoxy resin. This is a first prototype, and should not be expected to work perfectly, or even at all, without further modification. The OpenSCAD files are not well commented as of yet, though this may change in the future. The principle of the design is to drive the gears at the top by running filament through a groove in the gears. Thus, without moving the extruder motor located on the side, we can simply pull the filament through to drive the syringe. The OpenSCAD files rely on a couple bits of other code I did not make. The first is the English fork of the OpenSCAD gear generator, found here: https://github.com/chrisspen/gears (https://github.com/chrisspen/gears) Then you will also need the Athena part files, and their own associated subfiles, found here: https://github.com/phidiasllc/athenaII (https://github.com/phidiasllc/athenaII) https://github.com/phidiasllc/scad_libraries (https://github.com/phidiasllc/scad_libraries)
