Description
This tool alows for safe excavation and cleaning of archeaological artifacts. Currently it is common to use dental tools which work well, but can easily scratch or damage soft or old artifacts. By using a plastic tool there is less chance of damaging the artifact and it is much cheaper to print than it is to buy tools. Metal Dental tools that are traditionally used can cost anywhere between $5 and $15 compared to the estimated $0.25 worth of filiment to print this tool. There are no plastic options for archaeological tools other than comersial dental picks which are far too flimsy and hard to hold. This design provides a sturdy erganomic option that will not damage the artifacts being cleaned.
