Description
These are example porous wedges created from the blank files in the blank 10 mm CRRA entry in the NIH 3D Print Exchange. For full description and use instructions visit https://3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-009146 (https://3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-009146). The Challenge Residue Removal Assembly (CRRA) is a research tool designed by OSEL FDA researchers to mimic medical devices, namely orthopaedic, to evaluate challenges in removing additive manufacturing residual materials from porous geometries. Ten-millimeter tall wedges are provided with three size variations of the same unit cell. All porous structures were created with circular struts. Each file name indicates the wedge height and nominal pore size as follows: Nmm_Pum, where N is the height of the corresponding assembly disc and P is the nominal pore size.
