Description

Chlorosoman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/Chlorosoman) is a chemical weapon which is related to soman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/soman). Structurally, chlorosoman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/chlorosoman) differs from soman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/soman) only in that the fluorine (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/fluorine) atom in soman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/soman) is replaced by a chlorine (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/chlorine) atom in chlorosoman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/chlorosoman). This change is only expected to have a small effect on chlorosoman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/chlorosoman)'s chemical reactivity as compared to the reactivity of soman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/soman). See the chemical datasheet for soman (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/soman) for more information.
